Aēsop Greenbelt in Makati, Manila—the first loc Aēsop Greenbelt in Makati, Manila—the first location to open in the Philippines 😍

What was once a space occupied by the Ayala Museum, the newly built Aēsop was designed in partnership with @mlkk.studio to reflect the work of renowned Philippine architect, Leandro Y. Locsin, Jr., the museum’s original designer.

Featuring his signature brutalist aesthetic of concrete, floating voluminous shapes, and simplistic design, they aimed to pay homage by bridging the space’s past with the present.

Magandang tindahan...such a beautiful store.

Highlight: Riding motorbikes til sunset on winding, palm-tree lined roads along the coast of the island. We traversed through large stretches of palm trees, mangroves, and provincial towns built above water and tucked away within the jungles. I wish photos could do it more justice. #salamatpilipinas
